How Lunabia handles your data, and why we don't sell cycle data. In plain words; the binding version is the privacy policy.

Every calendar entry, symptom, cycle day, feeding time and note lives on your phone first. Without an account, none of it ever leaves your device, and the whole app still works.
If you create an account, the app syncs your entries with our server in the EU so you find them again on a new phone. The transfer is always encrypted.
We use no ad trackers, no Facebook pixel and no data profiling. No analytics service watches what you do in the app, and no service reports crashes or usage to third parties.
This website sets no cookies, and its fonts come from our own server.
Lunabia is meant to be carried by a fair premium subscription: family sharing, once it launches. You pay for the product, never with your data.
Everything that runs on your device stays free, and so does the backup through your account. The contraction timer and kick counter never cost anything. No ads, no selling of data.

Under the GDPR, your cycle, pregnancy and health data are specially protected (Art. 9). That is why the app asks for your explicit consent in a separate step on first launch, before anything is stored or transferred. Without it, the app stays closed.
You can withdraw your consent with one tap, and you always have the right to access, correction and deletion. Lunabia is operated by Fluxera LLC in the USA; what that means for your data is set out openly in the privacy policy.
In transit, always: everything that travels between the app and the server is encrypted.
On your phone, your entries sit in the app's own storage, which other apps cannot reach. With a screen lock set, your phone encrypts its storage itself. The app does not add a second layer of encryption; instead you can lock it with its own code.
On the server, if you have an account, they are stored with Cloudflare in the EU jurisdiction. They are not end-to-end encrypted there, and we would rather say so openly than stay quiet about it. Only Fluxera LLC has access.
With an account, yes: the app syncs your entries, photos and videos with the server. On a new phone you sign in and everything is back. It is free.
Without an account, no: your data then exists only on this one device. If it is lost, so is the data. That is the price of none of it ever reaching us.
Yes. Without an account the app needs no network; it only fetches its own updates. With an account you log entries as usual, even offline; syncing catches up as soon as you are connected again.

Everything on the server at the push of a button: in the app under More, Profile, "Delete account". The account and everything stored with it on the server is then gone, immediately and completely.
Everything on your phone disappears when you remove the app.
No, no and no. Your entries are there to show them to you and to calculate estimates from them, such as your next period. For nothing else: no ads, no sharing with others, no AI training.
By default nothing is shared. Family sharing is in the works: people you invite yourself will then see the moments of the child you choose to share. Cycle and pregnancy are never shared.
